Claim email


When your Lesley accounts are generated, an email will be sent to your personal email address on file with the university.  The email will come from Lesley Username Claim <no-reply-claim@lesley.edu>, and the subject will be First name last name - Claim Your Lesley University Account.  This email will include a url that links to the claim site, as well as a single-use authorization code.  If you did not receive an email, check your Junk and Spam folders. If you still can't find the email, you can contact IT at it@lesley.edu or call 617.349.8770.


Claiming your account


1. Click on the url in the email that you received. You will also find your Authorization code in the email.  Click Next.



2.  Enter your legal first name, last name, and the Authorization code listed in the email and click Submit.  Please note that you will NOT be asked for your Social Security number, bank account or other sensitive information during the claim process.

3.  Check off the box for having read the terms and agree to the conditions, and then press the Next button.


4. Enter your mobile number and/or personal email address for recovery information. Press the Update button.

5. A code will be sent to your mobile and/or personal email address and a box will pop up asking for the code(s).  Enter the code(s) and click Next.  



6. Enter your choice for a password in the two fields and click Reset Password.

Once you have claimed your account and entered recovery information, you will be able to change or reset your password yourself in the future.  Here is an article with instructions on how to do so - Changing / resetting your password
